HVCA Regulations
The Association of British Insurers recorded losses from extraction fires of around £65 million in 1998.
HVCA regulations recommend that a clean of the entire extraction system is performed by specialists at a minimum of 12 month intervals. The actual frequency should be determined by risk assessment of the premises and how often the extraction system is used.
Extraction Clean UK are affiliated members of HVCA and our work is audited annually.
