Extraction Clean UK offers industrial cleaning services that take care of all of your maintenance, hygiene and HVCA regulatory needs. As well as offering extraction cleaning to a very high standard we supply and fit inspection hatches direct into ducting if required. We can clean your existing system or fit new ducting if this is more cost effective for you.

It’s much more cost effective to maintain your extraction systems with Extraction Clean UK on an ongoing basis, than to ignore the cleaning regulations and later on be forced to go to the expense of installing a complete new system, or worse still put your premises at potential risk of fire. With regular maintenance this will also bring the cost of maintenance down as the time required to complete the job will be reduced.

Common Sense Cleaning

Good housekeeping is vital when it comes to extraction duct cleaning. Grease build-up has been identified as the cause of a significant percentage of fires where extraction ducts have been fitted. One solution may be ductwork systems with inspection hatches at 1.5 meter canters for inspection and extraction cleaning, meaning grease build-up can be monitored and prevented with ease. HVCA recommend the following extraction cleaning programme to protect your premises and ensure the cleanliness of your system:

• Light (2-6 hrs/day) – extraction cleaning over a 12 month cycle
• Moderate (6-12 hrs/day) – extraction cleaning over a 6 month cycle
• Heavy (12-16 hrs/day) – extraction cleaning over a 3 month cycle

Certificate of Cleanliness

Upon satisfactory completion of works we supply a Cleaning Certificate for the kitchen and a separate certificate for the ventilation/extraction system, with before and after pictures. We can send the cleaning certificates via email direct to your insurance company or by post. Insurance companies may ask for a cleaning certificate to verify you have had professional extraction cleaning performed at least once yearly. Cleaning Risk Assessment

We provide a copy of the site appraisal form and cleaning risk assessment with our quotation. This provides you with a comprehensive overview of what’s included in the cleaning quote and why a particular cleaning service should be carried out.
